Time on the ICP-MS, and access to the support labs is in principle allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis following submission of a complete and signed project form to the Lab Coordinator. We intend to run the instrument in solution mode the first two weeks of each month, and in laser-ablation mode for the remainder, although this will also depend on demand.

The support lab and the ICP-MS can be used 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and all days of the year.
