Required Duties:

Under the general supervision of course instructor. Prepares course material (including laboratory preparation if applicable). Performs grading and maintains grading records. Assists with tutoring. Performs related duties. Drives van full of students around Montréal and southern Québec for field labs off campus.

Qualifications Required:

B.Sc. degree. Enrollment in Earth & Planetary Sciences M.Sc. or Ph.D. graduate program. Ability to identify and describe local rocks (limestone, shale, gabbro, volcaniclastics) and common deformation structures (folds, faults, foliations and cleavage). Legal and competent to drive minivan carrying students. Must be organized and approachable. Ability to deal effectively with diverse range of people. English, spoken and written.

Language Requirements (if relevant):  Spoken and written English required. Spoken and written French desired.
