Required Duties:

Under the general supervision of course instructor. Selects hand specimens and thin sections for laboratory exercises. Assists students with mineral identification exercises (hand specimens and transmitted-light microscopy). Performs grading of assignments, lab exercises and spotting tests, and maintains grading records via MyCourses.

Qualifications Required:

B.Sc. degree. Enrollment in Earth & Planetary Sciences M.Sc. or Ph.D. graduate program. Must be organized and approachable. Ability to deal effectively with diverse range of people. English, spoken and written.
